busy week yet again...

So this week very busy for me. I have o read a book for my Contemporary policies and politics class. I am reading Shame of the Nation by Jonathan Kozol. Its about restoration of apartheid schooling in america. Its pretty interesting just very long. So after i read 60 pages a day till friday i have to write a min of 5 pages report on the book and about its policy it represents. Of course my policy is Education. So i will start typing hopefully Friday if not Saturday, and the paper is due Wednesday of next week. Lets pray that i finish it and get the rest of my homework done too. I had a History test today, and I recommend: History in the 20th Century with Dr. Smith to anyone interested in taking history next semester, its truly one of my best classes. On Friday, I have a math test. I work Saturday, and am hopefully not going to be to tired aftewards to go to a Halloween party. Sunday is resting and typing day all day long, YAY.

Beach Retreat minus 3 and a half days...

This weekend, Im going with Intervarsity on the 2010 Beach Retreat. Im so excited to spend the weekend with my friends at the beach learning about ourselves and connecting with God. We leave Friday at 4:30 so we will be at the beach a little after dinner. Im so excited to see everyone, and to meet some new people either at NC State or at Meredith.

The new year will bring two little babies to my family.....

So this morning I found that I am getting a little niece in March. Makenzie Grace Brackett. And last month I found out I was getting an nephew in Feb, Joseph Parker Brackett. My stepsister is having the baby girl and my stepbrother and my sister-in-law are having a baby boy. Im so excited to see them, and watch them grow.

Fall Break, why couldnt you of lasted longer....

So I came back home to Charlotte on Wednesday after taking two midterms, I came home and I was welcomed by my little sister. She was excited that I was finally home so she could have someone to talk to till my mom got out of work. Then Chris( my boyfriend) came and picked me up and we went to his cousins house for a little while. I told them all about Cornhuskin' they all laughed. Thrusday I spent the day in Locust with Chris which is where he lives. We went to the back, visited his mom at work, went out to eat and got a movie from redbox, and then returned to his house for the movie, which sucked really bad. Friday I spent the day with my mom, and I went to the doctors, we went out to lunch, then we did some errands. Saturday I went to my stepbrothers ex-girlfriends babyshower. I know that sounds weird especially becasue my stepbrother is married now and has a son on the way, but it was good to see her. Then we went to the mall, and then dinner at my dads house for my stepmoms birthday. Then after dinner,Saturday became worse, me and chris got back to my house, and it was going to be the last time seeing him untill thanksgiving, we were both tired of the long-distance and short trips home for breaks that now we were going to take a break for awhile and see what happens. Sunday was better, I got my dress for White Iris, and i returned back to Meredith. In conclusion my break was goodish and i wish it was longer...........

Fall break here i come...

So wednesday starts fall break and im so excited. Im leaving Meredith at 3:30ish after my last class. Its a 2 to 3 hour drive back to Charlotte. While home im going to be with my family and my amazing boyfriend, im also going to a babyshower on Saturday, the doctors on Friday. Other than that im just having a break away from school. So excited to be going home and eating real food, and sleeping in my bed, and being with my boyfriend. everyone have a good safe fall break......

What a busy week I had, and now time for the weekend..

So this week i was filled with events and things to do. My calenders were full, and so was my planner. But I am so glad today is friday. So this weekend isnt going to be as busy as my week. Tonight I am going to the barn party with my Intervarsity girls.  I work Saturday from 1-8PM. Doing some homework inbetween, relaxing and going some packing to go home on wednesday to see my family and my amazing boyfriend. But what makes me more happy then going home is that it finally stopped raining and the sun is shining today YAY. have a great weekend everyone.
